About Me:

Kevin Justus came to WSPA in October 2008 and took the role of WSPA’s Interactive Media Division’s Senior Web Production Coordinator.
Kevin builds the pages and the components on the website that allows News Channel 7’s news staff to bring you the latest stories and video.
Kevin graduated from Marshall University in Huntington, WV in 2003 with a BA in Journalism. Kevin won mulitple awards for reporting for the college TV station. As the college radio station’s production director he won multiple awards for audio production including national finalist in the Silver Microphone awards.
Kevin began a career in news as an Associate producer for WTVQ-TV in Lexington, KY in 2004. He quickly moved up the ranks. From assignment desk, photographer, TV news producer and then finally web producer. He is a jack-of-all-trades who has done almost every job in a TV station.
Kevin’s main love is music. He is a musician who plays drums, piano, guitar and bass. He loves the live music scene in the upstate and travels to Asheville and Greenville regularly to see great music.
